The Colin Montgomerie Links Junior Challenge golf tournament was held successfully on the 21st and 22nd July 2011 at Montgomerie Links golf course. This tournament attracted over 30 juniors aged from 7 to 17 in the whole country and in the world. This competition took place according to stroke-play method on 36 holes with the participation of junior players in 3 levels of age, competing together with Net score in Handicap and Callaway divisions.
Nguyen The Truong Giang represented Dao Sen driving range to attended this tournament in the first time. Kid Giang has not been an experienced junior golfer in tournaments. The Nick Faldo 2010 was the first golf tournament Giang had joined since he started taking golf lessons at Dao Sen golf performance learning center and won the 2nd Runner-up. The Colin Montgomerie Links Junior Challenge was his second golf tournament. Surprisingly, Giang continued to win 1st Runner-up.
After this tournament, Giang will continue his golf lessons with the golf coach Terry Wong at Dao Sen driving range in connection with self-practice with his father at driving range and golf courses. Hopefully, Giang will become a talented young golfer as well as an excellent representative for Dao Sen Driving Range in future tournaments. Congratulations on Giang’s achievements
